This is the most tiring Saturday I have ever had.
Intended not to go back Evergreen today as I have to reach Siglap South CC early.
Eventually I went back.
Its due to the fact that 魏老师 called me.
He phoned me & said that he will be late.
So I rushed over.
Teach them until 12pm & I left.
Cab over to Siglap South CC to meet up with the Girls Percussion ( GP ).
When I reached the drums are already in the truck.
Gathered with them at the room whereby we are all searching for the drumsticks.
We remember keeping it in a bag but the entire bag disappear into thin air. LOL.
Gather sticks that we found, then we started our journey to Cairnhill CC.
Weiling, Mingxuan & Irys cab over to Cairnhill CC while I follow the truck.
Went over with William.
William = truck driver. :D
He is a very nice guy who plays the 笛子.
Reached & get things prepared.
Changed into the shirt we are suppose to wear.
The Percussion Essembly Tee.
Mr Quek came & we waited.
When everyone has settled down, we performed 滚核桃片断 with Mr Quek.
Afterwhich we started teaching.
Cairnhill CC has the most number of people, they had 35 senior citizens who participated!!
After the lesson, we started packing and moved the instruments back to Siglap South CC.
Bus-ed home after that.
Had a tiring day today.
The photo above is the number of drums we moved today.
2 beven bigger drums were moved out when the photo was taken.

Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to SEETOH FELIX. :D
Sorry that I had forgotten about your birthday.
Has been very busy this week.

Today went back to CCHYCO.
Reached CCHY at 12pm.
Had sectional with the percussion girls until around 1plus.
Settle some things with them.
Then, someone requested to have a mini combine.
We agreed to the combine and started to prepare.
We like only had 1 suona, 1 erhu, 1 cello, 1 bass.
Others I had forgotten. LOL
Had our mini combine, and the result were quite good.
After the combine,
CCHYCO percussion who attended today had a photo taking session.
Will upload it.
Kingchi came back today as well.
Photos were taken with him as well.
Went for lunch after photo taking session.
Ate lunch & came back for their combine.
During their combine, Hoyin & Zhengkang came back as well.
The four of us met up, fix some snare drum problems & went to find mdm teo.
While talking Zhao called out for me as there were some problems with the percussion.
Went to settle & stayed at the percussion area.
Both their set piece & choice piece have to improve.
I believe they can do it.

Finally I am done with the 3 days intensive training.
Monday until today, I have been going back to CCHY to teach.
Have been having headaches whenever I think of how to improve their movement.
Eventually their overall improvement was awsome.
Will continue to work hard.

Woke up at 7 plus this morning.
Slack a while before going off for practice at Siglap South CC.
Travelled there & reached Siglap South CC at about 10.15am.
Went to the practice room & saw Sharon, Bee Kwee & Weixiang.
Happen that when I walked in Yik Hang went to the washroom & Benjamin has not reached.
& Jian Xiang had an exam coming soon so he didn't attend practice today.
We practiced our own parts of any songs at first.
After about 20 minutes or so, Benjamin came.
Since Sharon, Weixiang & I were going through the 大鼓 part for 老鼠娶亲.
We all practiced 老鼠娶亲 first.
Went through a few times to correct some problems & we went on to the next song.
Next, we practiced 鸭子拌嘴.
Went through a few movement problems before moving on.
Then we practice 锦鸡出山.
Not much of a problem, used Mr Quek's instrument. :D
Next was 冲天炮, it was great!!.
Moved the drums to the outside of the room as the ceiling were too low.
Move out and practiced.
Sound effect & visual effect were awsome!!.
Moved the instruments in & started practice on Lion.
As Benjamin was rushing for time, we went throuh Lion once & move on to 龙腾虎跃.
Benjamin went off after that.
We polish up our Lion & 龙腾虎跃 after the left.
After that was left with Sharon, Bee kwee, Weixiang Yik Hang & me.
We went through 滚核桃 & practice ends.
We labelled the drums we need before keeping.
Packed the 铜器 together & left.
&&& while packing, we realised that we forgotten to go through 老虎磨牙.
But since its a familiar song.
We will only be going through next week with Mr Quek.
All these songs are practiced for our upcoming performance.
Which is next sunday at Kallang CC, an Art Festival Performance.
Songs I have mentioned will be performed.
This is the performance list. :D

3. "Rooster going town" “锦鸡出山”

After practice, went off with Weixiang.
Bus-ed to Bedok interchange & we went to eat.
After that we took 168 all the way to Woodlands interchange.
I went to take 913 home while Weixiang went to take his bus.
Homed around 5.30pm.
Rested a while & went to sleep.
Woke up at 8 plus & had dinner at 9pm.
&&& now, blogging.

Sorry readers.
I know I said will update on friday but was too tired.
Lets strat from friday then.

FRIDAY, 13th March 2009.

Planned to go for K box session with Boyuan & Kaifu.
But due to some reason, it was cancelled.
Rot at home for a while before Joseph & Cheryl came over my house.
I need Joseph's help with re-colouring my bicycle.
We prepared & went to my house void deck to start our spraying process.
After the colour dries we came up with my bike.
They left not long later & since they are going CWP,
I told them to help me bank in my cheque.
Rested a while at home after that.
Went for basketball around 7pm.
Played until lights off, which was 10pm.
Went to Admiraty for my dinner.
Meet Louis there for dinner & to settle some problems.
Walked home & rest after that.
Thats all for Friday.
Now, lets talk about today. :D

Woke up at 7 plus.
Recieved a notice last night that Pioneer Junior College ( PJC ) needed a timpanist to help them perform.
Amy approached me & ask if I am free.
She had University open house to go to today.
So, eventually I went over to PJC.
Meet amy's friend, Zhiyu, at Chua Chu Kang MRT station at 8.30am.
Went to change into their PE attire in order to get into the school.
Zhiyu brought the shirt for me.
Bus-ed to PJC with Zhiyu & her CO friends.
Reached there & saw a familiar percussionist friend.
His name is Yong Shen from Marsiling Sec previously.
Know him through Joseph.
While I was talking to him, the conductor approach me.
Conductor = Tan Chye Tiong, 陈财忠
The SCO 新笛 player.
He talked to me, ask where am I from this & that.
He asked for my number after that.
Said that he had a lot of projects on hand & wanted me to help.
Practice with them from 9am to 12pm.
Practiced 丰年祭, I played the timpani.
Went over to CCKCC after that for the performance.
The event was an exchange program organise by 吉丰 orchestra.
6 schools participated.

These 6 schools are :
Teck Whye Secondary School
Bukit Batok Secondary School
Northland Secondary School
Bukit Panjang Government High
Fuhua Secondary School
Pioneer Junior College

Heard more than enough of 禅歌 today.
They performed their SYF set piece as well as their choice pieces.
Heard a few today.
There was 秦.兵马俑, 奋勇前进, 春节序曲.
Ok, I only remember this few, the rest forget le.
Performed 丰年祭 with PJC.
The timpani there can't reach the low A I needed, so I have to hold me leg there to sustain the note.
Saw a lot of familiar faces at CCKCC as it was organised by 吉丰.
I saw Weihong, Deli, Danny, Marcus, Yancong, Yanru, Mr Ngoh....
Performed & went back to PJC.
I performed in PJC uniform, like so....
An RP student wearing PJC uniform & helping PJC perform.

When I first reach PJC, Serene approach me after Mr Tan.
I was shocked to see her.
Didn't know that she was studying there.
Crap a while and practice starts.
While practcing, I saw someone at the huqin section who look like Shuying.
Didn't dare to confirm, so didn't approach & ask.
But during break time, she approach me & call out 子戬.
Since then I confirmed that it was her.
Never expect to meet up with this people.
A lot of things of the past to talk about.
Crapped & had a lot of fun. :D

I am so very very sorry readers.
Com has been down.
Bought my Poly laptop just now.
Using it now.
Have to use this to do my stuff while I find ways to get my desktop & lappy ready to use.
